Burned cat gets new home

ESCAMBIA COUNTY -- A badly burned cat found earlier this year in Escambia County now has a new home. The cat was found March 16th in the Beulah community. Bound with zip ties and burned. After months of surgeries and skin grafts, Valiente was adopted by a volunteer at the Humane Society.
Volunteer, Marci said, “I've learned a lot from her about compassion and patience and love. I hope she'll be always happy in my home.”
A $3,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who set fire to Valiente.
