Tropical Depression 2 has formed over the Atlantic Ocean. The system is moving west and is headed to the Caribbean Sea. This system is not forecast to become much stronger and could become non-tropical by Thursday.

Tips to keep your electric bill down

When all this rain finally moves out... The temperatures are bound to go up.  But before you crank up your air conditioning, here are some things you can do to keep your electric bill down.  First, clean the filter on your air conditioner at least once a month to help it run more efficiently.  Use solar screens on your windows to reflect heat before it gets into your home and if your a/c is older, experts say replacing it with a new unit could cut your electric bill in half.
