Zimmerman protests continue

The protest gripping the Florida capitol is showing no signs of ending.  Protesters are upset over the George Zimmerman verdict.  They have been staging a "sit-in" at the capitol since July 16 and more and more people are showing up to stay the night. Protesters say they won't leave until Governor Rick Scott calls a special session, so legislators can repeal the state's Stand your Ground law. The Florida Department of Law enforcement says the state has now spent nearly $46 thousand on overtime since the protest began.  And the state has spent more than $116 thousand on security...But that total includes normal security expenses.
