Burglars break into teen home, shots fired

A Clearwater teen is lucky to be alive this morning after police say three burglars broke into her home and it ended in gunfire. Police are still looking for two of the suspects. The teen had come home from volunteering and when she walked in she heard a loud noise and when she looked up the stairs she saw the barrel of a gun.
"I was just like well this is really weird and I started walking and I was standing right here and I just saw the carpet fly up and it was just a loud noise,” said Lyndsey.
Lyndsey took off running down the street to a neighbor's house. Police say the burglars took off with firearms and jewelry, and are all believed to be young teens. Clearwater police have arrested one of the suspects. He's is in juvenile detention charged with armed burglary. The family tells us he's only 14 years old. Police are still looking for the other two burglars.
