Protesters take over Governor Rick Scott's office

Protesters from several southeastern states have taken over Governor Rick Scott's office.

We're here in support of what we're calling the 'Trayvon Martin Civil Rights Act of 2013.
This comes on the heels of the acquittal of George Zimmerman.
They say they want Scott to call a special session of the legislator to address racial profiling and the Stand your Ground law.
The governor is in New York, and is due back sometime tonight.
But those protesting say they will hold a peaceful sit-in until they meet with him.
No matter how long that will take.
"Together we are united to ensuring Trayvon's unjust death was not for nothing."
"He's the only person that can do that and we believe this is a crisis moment."

Law enforcement says they'll keep a close eye on demonstrators to make sure they don't get out of hand.
More than 100 rallies are expected nationwide this Saturday as a result of the acquittal of George Zimmerman.
