He decided to stop by the beach a day early, hoping he'd get a glance of one of the headline acts, Fantasia.

The only thing going on, at least right now, is the stage crew setting up equipment.
Summer Fest is a privately funded event.
There won't be any food vendors near the concert area, to encourage the crowds to eat at local restaurants.

Organizers say tickets sales for Summer Fest have been going well with a lot of interest from surrounding states.
People going, should bring the usual beach items like lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas and coolers. But tents, barbecue grills, and glass containers are not allowed.
