Hundreds help in search for missing woman over the weekend
PENSACOLA BEACH -- More than 100 people came together this weekend to search for a missing Escambia County woman.
25-year-old Tiffany Daniels went missing two weeks ago.
Her car was found Thursday night on Pensacola Beach.
The parking lot near the front entrance to Fort Pickens. is where those who volunteered to search for Tiffany Daniels spent most of their Sunday. A day that led to new evidence being turned over to investigators.
Several volunteers who combed the area on Sunday found and turned in items that could be considered evidence in the case. Investigators have not released what those recovered items were or if they are in fact tied to the disappearance of Tiffiany Daniels.
Tiffany Daniels car was found in this parking lot but camera's above the lot only captured the license plate, not who was in the vehicle. Investigators say Daniels cell phone and bicycle were both found inside her vehicle.
Two searches at Fort Pickens, the last being Sunday.. have turned up no sign of Daniels. Daniels father was part of the search Sunday and told those who helped in the search efforts that he's not ready to give up and neither should anyone else.
Several dozen volunteers, workers with Escambia Search and Rescue and many others helped with search. Daniels disappearance has many visitors and residents paying closer attention to their own surroundings.
