FEMA administrator speaks out about hurricanes

Floridians are in "denial" about the threat of hurricanes.  FEMA administrator Craig Fugate believes many people in the state wrongly believe they have "survived" the full force of hurricanes in the past.  But he said in reality hurricane force winds and storm surge were only experienced in small compact areas such as the beach areas near Pensacola during Hurricane Ivan. He is urging everyone to always take evacuation orders seriously.
