Dogs try to set new barking record

A bunch of dogs trying to set the record for barking! They gave it a good effort, but these barking dogs in Wisconsin came up a little short. La Crosse Wisconsins 12th Annual Bark in the Park was the place to be if you enjoy the sound of dogs barking! People brought their pooches to try to beat a Guinness World Record for the "loudest bark by a group of dogs. The area used to hold the title, until some vocal canines in Colorado took away the honor in 2009. Organizers played some old stand-bys, doorbells and other sounds on a loudspeaker to get the group going. The decibel level to beat was 124...Equal to an ambulance siren. This year, these dogs could only muster a barking level of 114.5. About 10 decibels short. But all the owners say they're going to try again next year.
