West Nile case found in Mobile

Mobile county has it's first West Nile case and that has pushed the health department to start warning people.

The disease is spread by mosquitoes. The Mobile County Health Department says the victim is an otherwise healthy man in his 30's. West Nile can cause anything from flu-like symptoms to death.

The health department says while he may have been bit in a different area code, there could be other infected mosquitoes throughout the area. So doctors say the best defense is to avoid being bitten.
