Lyme disease more common than expected

Lyme Disease is more common than health experts originally thought.
The Centers for Disease Control And Prevention says as many as 300,000 Americans are diagnosed with Lyme Disease each year.

They previously thought the number ranged from 20 to 30-thousand.
That's because  doctors didn't report every case.

Lyme Disease is caused by a bacteria transmitted through the bites of infected deer ticks.
