Residents of Escambia County outraged about gun violence in the community

ESCAMBIA COUNTY   --  The shooting that killed 14-year old Kenteyonna Anderson, marks the 6th shooting in Escambia County in the last two weeks.

Some people in the community are outraged -- and asking when the gun violence will stop.

The Escambia County sheriff's office says the biggest road block to solving these crimes is when members of the community won't come forward with information.

Community activist Ellison Bennett has been critical of Sheriff Morgan in recent months -- but he agrees that the community must speak out.

"If someone has any information about any of these shootings, they are just as much at fault as the person who pulled the trigger"

The sheriff's office is still investigating the recent rash of shootings in Escambia County.
