"It went by 7 or 8 more rounds... They were so close"
Chandler waited a few minutes before stepping outside to see what happened. She noticed a bullet hole on the drivers door of her car.
"When we were younger we used to fight with our fists and sticks and stuff now, it's kids with guns."
She then realized her neighbor's apartment had also been shot at, while children were sleeping inside. Her neighbor did not want to talk to us on camera but says she has no idea why someone would shoot at her home. When police arrived, they found her front bedroom window broken and a bullet hole in the roof.

"Shooting goes on up and down this street all the time... I stay in my house and I mind my business."
Diane Noris lives in the neighborhood and also heard the gunshots. She's lived in the neighborhood for 30 years and says it used to be a safe place. She wants the violence to stop.
"It's the parents.... I won't give it up for nothing."
Police found two shell casings in a nearby driveway. According to the police report, bystanders were reluctant to give police any information.
