Governor Scott headed abroad to help open Florida business

FLORIDA  --  Governor Rick Scott is heading abroad to try and open doors for Florida based businesses.

Scott is heading to Japan in November and the Dominican Republic in February 2014.

The governor will discuss the state's Economic Development Organization and opportunities to expand.

Scott has taken more trips abroad than Former Governor Charlie Crist.

He defends the trips as a way to not only help companies seeking business abroad.
But to also bring business and *jobs* back to the state.
