Latest on Kenyan mall attack

Reports out of Kenya tonight say three Americans were among the injured in a deadly mall shooting.

At least 62 people are now dead, and more than 175 others hurt.
The government believes all hostages have been evacuated from a mall in Nairobi.
Kenyan government forces say they now have control of the mall, and vow to, quote, "finish and punish" those responsible for the attack.
One man was sitting with his daughter inside the mall at a cafe when the shooting started.

"Heard a loud explosion or blast followed by some gunshots.  And, I happened to be very close to the door.  I just reached over, grabbed my daughter and just ran out the front door of that cafe."

That man and his daughter were rescued after about an hour and half.
The US State Department is not confirming Americans were involved in the attack.
Secretary of State John Kerry says the US will pursue the terrorists responsible.

People with ties to Kenya are watching closely.
A UWF student born there was worried about his family.
His family lives near the mall in Kenya, and could see the smoke from their home.

"There was some different terrorist attacks....it was surprising and shocking."

He learned this morning that his family is okay.
They told him Kenyan forces are out in full force and security is tight.
