Florida Coral Reef restoration
FLORIDA - Florida is getting 200,000 dollars to help restore coral reefs.
The grant comes from the federal government.
The money will be used by the Coral Restoration Foundation to plant thousands of nursery-raised corals along the coast.
Most of the coral will go down by the keys.
That's because reefs in the keys have declined in the last 30 years.
The state could get another 500,000 dollars in funding for the restoration project if it gets approval from congress.
