Bill to decrease vehicle registration fees

The Florida Senate Transportation Committee will meet tomorrow to talk about lowering vehicle registration fees.

Senate Appropriations Chairman, Joe Negron, filed a bill that would roll back vehicle registration fees that were increased in 2009.
Back in 2009, it cost just 20 dollars to renew your license.
But four years ago that fee went up to 48 bucks.
Negron says if the fees are lowered, it could save drivers more than 200-million dollars.
