Former Crestview police major Joseph Floyd sentence

CRESTVIEW   --  Former Crestview police major Joseph Floyd will spend the next 12 years in prison for racketeering.

Several people testified during Floyd's sentencing hearing.
Floyd even took the stand himself asking the judge for a lighter sentence.
He said that he has lost everything, his home, vehicles, even furniture.
He pleaded to Judge Flowers to allow him to help his wife raise their Special Needs child.
Floyd was convicted of racketeering charges in August.
The maximum sentence he could have been given was 30 years .
The lowest would have been 34-months.
