USS San Antonio saves over 100 men from Mediterranean Sea

The US Navy rescued more than 100 men from some rough waters in the Mediterranean Sea.

A patrol aircraft from Malta spotted the raft in trouble and sent the USS San Antonio to the rescue Wednesday.

The men were migrants from Somalia.
The Navy didn't say whether anyone was injured.
They were taken to Maltese Grand Harbour and turned over to the Maltese Coast Guard.

The Mediterranean has been the site of two deadly shipwrecks in recent weeks in which nearly 400 people have been killed.
