Improving water quality of Apalachicola Bay

2.5 millions dollars is being spent to help improve the water quality in Apalachicola Bay.

That bay is where about 90 percent of Florida's oysters come from.
But  poor water quality has been an ongoing problem.

It's partly due to a lack of fresh water because of a "water war" with Georgia.

And partly because of storm water runoff from homes surrounding the bay.

The grant money will be used to design and construct three projects aimed at improving storm water runoff.
