New $100 bill to enter currency

Finally the new $100 bill will begin showing up at the banks.

The Federal Reserve Board says the new currency will begin circulating Tuesday. New security features include a blue, 3D security ribbon that makes it easier to authenticate, and harder to counterfeit.

It took  several times to get the printing of the bills right. The first batch ended up with a blank spot, lifted by thieves on their way to the Federal Reserve and the last mess up was excess ink.

Finally 2 years later, they're ready to be sent out.
