Food Stamp benefits will be cut in November

FLORIDA  --  Millions of Floridians will see their food stamp benefits cut on November 1st.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program -- also known as "SNAP", or food stamps -- got a boost in 2009 because of the Recovery Act.

But that financial boost expires in November.
The amount of money qualifying families are eligible for depends on  household size, income, and expenses.

Starting November 1st, a family of four with no income and no other changes to their case will see a decrease of 36-dollars per month.

"SNAP" is encouraging their customers to log into their "My Access" accounts to review their benefit information for the month of November.
