BERTHA QUICKLY HEADING WEST-NORTHWEST

Tropical Storm Bertha formed over the Atlantic Thursday night and is heading west-northwest.  It has winds of 45 miles per hour and is not forecast to become a hurricane. The storm is not forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico.

Century man arrested five minutes after robbery "O Yes Lottery" store

DAVISVILLE   --   A Century man has been arrested, accused of burglarizing an old store.
Escambia County deputies say, Joseph Davis broke into the "O Yes Lotto" store in Davisville around noon. 
  
About five minutes later, Davis was pulled over by Atmore police officers.
Deputies say he stole some alcoholic beverages, but they're not sure if he took anything else.
  
The store has been closed since November of 2012, when the owner, Thomas Kroll, was killed during a robbery.
  
Davis faces alcohol-related charges in Atmore.
Burglary charges are pending in Escambia County, Florida.
