Down syndrome students make history at Florida school

ORLANDO -- Two Orlando teens are celebrating a special honor. Bubba Hunter and Semone Adkins are high schools seniors with Down syndrome. They were named their school's homecoming king and queen.  Friends say it was the pair's positive attitude that got them elected.
"We are not doing this because we feel bad for them or anything like that.  We are doing this because we genuinely like Bubba and Semone."
According to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida -- Bubba and Simone are the first teens with Down syndrome to be nominated to homecoming court in that part of the state.
