Manna Food Pantries collect 6,000 lb of food from Fair Day

PENSACOLA   --   Manna Food Pantries collected nearly 6,000 pounds of canned goods for local people in need yesterday.

Volunteers set up outside the Pensacola Interstate Fair all day.
People who brought in two cans of food got a two dollar discount on their admission to the fair.

Typically around 20-pounds of food is given to each family in need.
That means the food collected during the "Fair Food Drive" will feed about 250 families.
