Hurricane watch sends furloughed workers back to work

Part of the government went back to work on Thursday -- but it wasn't thanks to congress.
It was thanks to a hurricane watch in effect for parts of the US gulf coast. About three dozen people working for the Florida National Guard who had been furloughed were asked back to work, but many worry that might not be enough.
"To make sure we pre-position equipment, evacuate equipment out of the storm-impacted area, get the soldiers in the armories ready to respond."
He's asking Washington for permission to recall hundreds more workers. The National Hurricane Center issued a hurricane watch from west of Destin, Florida, to Grand Isle, Louisiana.
