200,000 bottles of Motrin Infants' Drops recalled

McNeil Consumer Healthcare says about 200,000 bottles of Concentrated Motrin Infants' Drops are being voluntarily recalled due to a risk that they may contain tiny plastic particles.

The company says retailers are being asked to remove three lot numbers of Concentrated Motrin Infants' Drops

Original Berry Flavor in half-ounce bottles. The lot numbers are DCB3T01, DDB4R01 and DDB4S01.

Tiny plastic particles were discovered in a different lot during manufacturing. That lot was not released, and the particles were traced to a shipment of ibuprofen from a supplier, the company said.

The three recalled lots were made with the same batch of ibuprofen, the company said. Consumers with questions or who would like to request a refund may call the company at 1-877-414-7709.
