Facebook relaxing privacy rules for teens
Facebook is relaxing privacy rules for teenagers.
Starting this week, any Facebooker between 13 and 17 will have the option to share their posts with the general public.
But the teen has to opt-in, and when they do, the change means total strangers will be able to see those posts.
Advertisers will also be able to use that information to release targeted ads.
If you don't want the world to see all of your updates, leave the privacy setting on the default setting.
It's more strict, and only allows teens' information to be shared with friends.
