Blue Angel Elementary learns what military life is like

ESCAMBIA COUNTY   --  Students at Blue Angels Elementary in Pensacola are learning about military life this week.

They're using DVD's and books provided by "Operation Caring Classroom."
The lessons focus on the sacrifices made by service members and their families.
Several veterans talked to the children about their service and their military values.
Duane Williams, retired from U.S. Marine Corps:
"About character, integrity, different things like that, the universal things that won't matter where you are or what you're doing, they will carry you through and make you successful in life."
The materials are provided by the Armed Forces Foundation.
Blue Angels Elementary is one of just one-hundred schools nationwide taking part in the program.
