State lawmakers renewed push to end bullying in Florida

State lawmakers are working to put a stop to bullying.
The re-newed push comes shortly after a 12-year-old Rebecca Sedwich jumped to her death.

She was allegedly taunted and bullied by two of her classmates until she committed suicide.

Lawmakers want to prevent similar tragedies.
This morning they met with representatives from multiple state agencies to discuss whether or not current laws aimed at preventing bullying are adequate.

"Where are we with that? Does that need any tweaking or changing or updating in order for law enforcement and social service agencies to have tools and schools to have tools to do a better job with bullying."

No word on what they determined during the meeting.
A report is expected to come out with in the next few weeks.
