Severe midwest storms claim eight lives
MIDWEST US -- (ABC) The rising death toll in Sunday's rash of tornadoes and storms across the midwest. Eight people have now died.
The twisters took the worst toll in Southern Illinois, where fierce winds tore apart whole neighborhoods.
Their every belonging - shredded strewn across - what used to be a neighborhood.

Scenes like this - repeated across at least five states in the midwest after as many as 81 reported tornadoes - touched down yesterday.
