The verdict is in for a Utah Doctor accused of killing his wife

The verdict is in for a Utah Doctor accused of killing his wife.

After 14 days of testimony it took the 8th person on the jury nearly 11 hours to come to a verdict.

Jurors found Doctor Martin Macneill guilty of murdering his wife in 2007.

Several of Macneill's daughters testified against him in the trial saying Macneill knocked out his wife with powerful drugs and left her to drown in the tub.

"I'm just so happy he can't hurt anyone. We miss our mom.  We'll never get her back. But that courtroom was full of so many people who loved her."

Macneill claimed his wife's 2007 death in the family's bathtub was an accident.

He will be sentenced at a later date.
