NY shop owners facing grand larceny charges

A convenience store owner and his son are accused of trying to rip off a customer with a million-dollar lottery ticket.

Police in New York say the pair lied to the man and paid out his winnings at just a thousand dollars.
The lotto winner returned to the store to question the exchange and then called police.
Officers say the defendants were planning to cash the man's million-dollar scratch-off ticket themselves.
The two men are now facing grand larceny charges.
