CENTRAL FLORIDA -- George Zimmerman -- the man acquitted of murdering Trayvon Martin -- appeared in court today,
This time, he is accused of assaulting his girlfriend.
He now faces one felony and two misdemeanor charges.
Zimmerman's girlfriend claims he pointed a gun at her, broke things and threatened her.
Zimmerman was arrested yesterday, after he barricaded himself in the apartment.
Today he heard a Florida judge lay out the charges:
Do you understand there was domestic violence...
Yes your honor.
During the short proceeding the judge set Zimmerman's bond at nine-thousand dollars, and set conditions:
Zimmerman can't return to the house where the Monday incident happened...
He can't contact his girlfriend.
Can't carry a weapon while on bond or travel outside of Florida.
And he must wear an electronic monitor.
The state described another, previously unknown, recent incident.
Where the girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, claims Zimmerman choked her.
Zimmerman's lawyers after court:
He's presumed innocent. We're confident he's going to be acquitted.
All of this after Monday's incident.
In a 911 call from her home, the girlfriend claims: You just broke my glass table. You just broke my sunglasses. And you put your gun in my freaking face and told me to get the f*#k out.
Zimmerman's version, a little different as the incident was unfolding, he also called 911.
Um, my girlfriend has, uh, for lack of a better word, gone crazy on me.
In Zimmerman's account: his girlfriend said she was pregnant wanted to raise their child alone and the fight began.
In July, Zimmerman was found not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Adding insult to injury, while in custody he was also served with divorce papers from his estranged wife.
