Bomb threat at CVS

This afternoon, Walton County deputies responded to a bomb scare at a CVS store across from the Silver Sands Premium Outlets in Miramar Beach.

Deputies blocked off Poinciana Avenue and evacuated nearby businesses.
Deputies say someone called the CVS demanding a pre-paid credit card pin number.
The manager gave the person a pin to a card with no money.
That's when the caller threatened to kill everyone and hung up.
Deputies and dogs searched the area but did not find a device.
They say it's a scam that is increasing and has happened at other CVS stores.
