Destin man creates tracking phone app

A Destin man created an Android app that allows employers to track their employees every move. It's called Display Tracks.

Tommy Williams has been developing the app for about three years now. The app uses the phones GPS to show the location of the driver. The app also shows if employees are breaking laws like texting while driving.

Small companies in five U.S. states and one in the Netherlands are already using it to track their employees.

"We can also save a company money in lost fuel cost for either excess speeding, jack rabbit starts, excessive driving, or making those unauthorized side trips."

The app is not only for businesses. Parents - you can get the app put on your child's phone to know where they're at at any given time.
