Florida State fans breathe a sigh of relief
Many Florida State fans are breathing a sigh of relief now that their star quarterback will not be charged with sexual assault.
Football fans at Florida Bama Fever watched lived as Jameis Winston was cleared of sexual assault allegations.
"He seems like an honest good person, I've watched him at the football games, and really wasn't expecting it but I'm glad he's clear" said Bernedette Broadwater, FSU fan.
Tom Dwier owns the store, and has followed the Winston case closely.
"It was a very difficult situation because obviously my livelihood is involved with thisand it involved two individuals that were a lot bigger than football" said Tom Dwier, Florida Bama Fever owner.
Alex Burkholder has been a die-hard FSU fan for as long as he can remember. He even has the tattoos to prove it.
"Just the timing of it seemed very peculiar to me, I'm just glad he's not guilty and we're going to be okay" said Alex Burkholder, FSU fan.
The State Attorney handling the case says the investigation was thorough, but Charles Smith has doubts.
"I'm kind of surprised they didn't press charges because the first time he was asked if he slept with her he said no but then they come back with DNA evidence then he changed his story" said Charles Smith, Alabama fan.
"We're just excited he's cleared of all this and we can move on" said Floyd Tyson, FSU fan.
Florida State fans say now the allegations are behind them, they can focus on winning a national title.
