Pregnant woman strongly encouraged to get flu shots

The Florida Department of Health is warning pregnant women to get flu shots.

During pregnancy, it is harder for a woman's immune system to fight infections.
This makes pregnant  women more likely to get the flu and other diseases.
This year's H1N1 virus has put a number of pregnant women in intensive care.
 It's such a concern that Florida Medicaid is now covering the vaccine for pregnant women age 21 and older.
The Director of the Okaloosa Health Department says it's not too late to be vaccinated.
She says flu shots will not make you sick, as some people believe.

Pregnant women aren't the only ones at risk.
The Mobile County Health Department says two men died in the past week after being hospitalized with flu-like symptoms.
One was forty years old, the other 26.
