A Houston teen is beaten by a friend and caught on camera

A Houston teenager was beaten by one of her good friends and it was caught on camera.
She feels she's being victimized again because the video has gone viral.

The punch seen at the beginning of this video is disturbing to watch and it only gets worse.
"I was just in shock. I was like oh my god. Did she really do this? You're supposed to be my close friend."

17 year old Shamichael Manuel says she never saw the hit coming.
We were talking in school earlier that day. She made it seem like there was nothing wrong with her.

Manuel believes she was set up by a former 16 year old friend and a group of other girls all over a boy.
"It is hurting and crushing to me."

The cell phone video posted online after the beat down has gone viral and Sharkeisha the girl seen punching and kicking is getting worldwide notoriety. Her name has even become a popular hashtag and internet meme.

The video's just going and going. They're making jokes, and they're taunting. They're glorifying the girl Sharkeisha, but they're taunting my daughter at the same time.
Olevida Henderson says her daughter is being victimized again and again.

I was in the grocery store, and the girl was checking out my groceries. The baggers were just laughing and talking about it. I said that's my daughter in that video, and their whole expression changed.

In just a week, Manuel has recovered from her black eye and busted lip, but knowing people are laughing, sharing the video at her expense, has made it impossible to completely heal.
"I'm going to have to deal with this for the rest of my life. How would you feel if that was your daughter or your son and it happened to them how would you feel."
