UPDATE: Teen Challenge receives OSHA violations

A Pensacola non-profit group is facing up to 228,000 dollars in fines because of workplace safety issues.

Teen Challenge of Pensacola says their mission is to rehabilitate drug users.

They run two thrift stores as well as a screen printing operation, detail shop, and wood shop.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited them for 25 violations, ranging from exposed wiring to lack of safety training.

The OSHA report says about half the problems were corrected during the inspection.

The organization has until February 14th to correct the others and Pastor Deron Gillespie with Teen Challenge says they are working on it.

They can also meet with OSHA to discuss whether the fines can be reduced.
