Florida schools receive new standards beginning next year
Florida schools will run on a new set of standards next year, based on the common core.
That means the FCAT test will no longer be used and a new testing system will be administered.
But some teachers are worried that schools won't be ready for the new test, that hasn't even been created yet.
Several companies are currently bidding to administer the test.
The state board is expected to make a decision sometime this month.
