Too cold to escape from jail

KENTUCKY   --  The bitterly cold temperatures were too much for a Kentucky inmate on the run.

He said can you call the law on me?
And I kind of looked at him I thought he was crazy or something.
Robert Vick walked away from his six year sentence for burglary at a Lexington Correctional Complex Sunday.
After a few days on the lam, the freezing temperatures took a toll.
Vick showed up to a motel near the correctional facility with *frost-bite* on his toes and fingers and asked the owner to call police.

It's cold out here, the poor old guy, standing before being arrested.
He was pitiful.
We gave him some hot chocolate.
Police showed up a few minutes later with an ambulance and took Vick to the hospital.
Once he is better he will be taken back to jail.
