Niceville soldier being laid to rest today

LAUREL HILL  --  A soldier from Okaloosa County will be laid to rest today.
Sergeant First Class William "Kelly" Lacey was killed in Afghanistan January 4th, when his unit was attacked.
   
Sergeant Lacey was on his 5th combat deployment serving as a vehicle mechanic with the First Infantry Division out of Fort Knox.
   
He was just 10 days away from coming home.
Sergeant Lacey was awarded the Purple Heart after his death.
   
He will buried near his parents' home in Laurel Hill.
