Gulf Power's "Storm team" heads to Georgia to help

A Gulf Power "Storm Team" is on it's way to Georgia.
That's because a winter storm is expected to bring ice and snow to parts of Georgia tonight.
   
50 workers from Pensacola, Crestview and Chipley left this afternoon to assist their sister company--Georgia Power.
   
They will spend the night south of Atlanta to wait for the storm to pass.
Then they will head to hard hit areas to help out.

"It can take days sometimes, especially in the cold lows. A lot of people don't know or don't remember to turn their heaters off."
