"Workforce Florida" getting new name

The agency that helps people in Florida find jobs, is getting a new name.
Starting this week "Workforce Florida" will be "Career Source Florida."

All the State's Regional workforce and one-stop centers will be changing their signs, too.

Nicole Garcia, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, said "We'll have a unified brand identity, so no matter where you are in Florida you'll recognize the Regional Workforce board, you'll recognize our mission to connect employers with skilled, talented, job seekers in Florida."

State leaders hope the name change will raise awareness of the system's employment and training resources, statewide.
