Pentagon's plan to cut the budget may cause grocery bill to go up for military families

The Pentagon's new proposed budget may cause grocery bills to go up for military families.

If approved, the plan would slash one  billion dollars  for commissaries.
The Pentagon would also cap military pay raises at 1 % in 2015 and trim housing subsidies for families who don't live on bases.
The cuts are part of a broader plan to thin out Armed Forces and be more responsive to threats like cyber attacks.
