Legalizing "Charlotte's Web" in Florida

Florida Representative Matt Gaetz was in Pensacola tonight talking about his controversial proposed bill.
Gaetz wants to legalize  "Charlotte's Web", a strain of marijuana that helps manage seizures.
"Charlotte's Web" is named after a 5 year old girl who, whose parents say, suffered from 300 Grand Mal seizures.
People who suffer from those seizures lose consciousness and have violent muscle contractions.
Now, her parents say she doesn't have nearly as many seizures now, because of this special strain that does not induce the"high" associated marijuana use.

Now families who say pharmaceutical options aren't enough, have moved to Colorado where weed is legal.
Right now, only twenty states and the District of Columbia now have laws legalizing marijuana in some form.
Neither Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, or Georgia are on that list.
