South Carolina man sentenced in 'white collar crimes' against Pensacolians

A man suspected of selling *fake* travel club memberships to people in Pensacola could spend the next 45 years in prison.

An Escambia County jury found Michael Mitchell guilty of Grand Theft and Aggravated White Collar Crime.

Mitchell, who lived in South Carolina, sent a sales team to Pensacola during July and August of 2008.

They sold fraudulent travel club memberships under the name of "Elite Escapes International" to around 50 people making over 84,000 dollars.
