Sixteen states brace for more icy weather

Tonight, 16 states, from Texas to New Jersey, are getting ready for another round of icy winter weather.

The latest winter storm could paralyze travel and leave thousands without power.

At least six deaths are aleady being blamed on the storm, 2 in Mississippi and 4 in Texas.
Georgia could be hit with massive power outages; the biggest fear, ice.
Heavy ice accumulations will be the worst tomorrow in southern and eastern portions of the state, with up to three quarters of an inch of ice.
65 shelters are open, and about 180 tons of salt and sand have been brought into Atlanta.
Power outages could be widespread, and travel, impossible.

More than 11-hundred flights were canceled as of this evening, and airlines had already called off more than 2,200 Atlanta-based flights scheduled for Wednesday.
That number was expected to rise.
