UPDATE: Loud music murder trial

Florida State Attorney Angela Cory says she will retry Michael Dunn for the murder of 17 year old Jordan Davis.

Dunn shot and killed Davis in 2012 during an argument over loud rap music, but claims it was self-defense.
Dunn fired 10 shots into an SUV that Davis and his friends were in.

He says Davis threatened him with a shotgun but investigators didn't find any weapons in the SUV.

The jury in Dunn's case was unable to reach a verdict for first degree murder, so the judge declared a mistrial on that charge Saturday.
Jurors did find Dunn guilty on 3 counts of attempted murder and one count of firing a gun.

Under the 10-20-life law, Dunn will serve at least 60 years in prison. He faces up to 15 more years on the charge of firing a gun.
Dunn's attorney says he will appeal the convictions.
